LifeSafetyMates — Privacy Policy

LifeSafetyMates is a field assistant for fire alarm and life safety technicians. It is operated by Armor Fati Holdings LTD Co, doing business as 5K TAC ("5K TAC", "we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

Information we collect

  • Account details. The email address you sign up with and your password, which is held by our authentication provider and never stored by us in readable form. The profile you set up: display name, assistant name, experience level, country and state, and any license or credential details you choose to enter.
  • What you send the assistant. Your questions and messages, the answers you receive, and the photos you take or pick from your library for analysis.
  • Voice. When you dictate, your device's built-in speech recognition (Apple or Google) turns your speech into text, and we receive the text. Spoken answers are read aloud on your device or generated by our AI provider from the answer text.
  • Live Eyes sessions. When you start Live Eyes, camera frames and microphone audio are streamed to our AI provider so it can answer in real time. We do not record or store Live Eyes video or audio.
  • Subscription status. If you subscribe, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive the transaction and renewal status needed to unlock Pro. We never receive your card details.
  • App reliability data. App version, device platform, response timings, errors, and the feedback ratings you give answers. We use this to keep the service working and to improve answers.

LifeSafetyMates does not use your location, does not contain advertising, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell your personal information.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions, analyze your photos, and keep your conversation history.
  • To manage your account, subscription, and free trial.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

Who processes it

  • Supabase hosts our database, sign-in, and photo storage.
  • OpenAI generates answers, analyzes photos, runs Live Eyes, produces spoken answers, and runs web lookups for code and product references from the text of your question.
  • Apple and Google process subscription payments and send us subscription status.
  • Resend delivers account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset.

We share data only with these service providers to run the app, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data, messages, and photos while your account is active. Live Eyes video and audio are not kept. When you delete your account, we delete it or unlink it from you as described below.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time inside the app: open Settings, then Delete Account. This permanently removes your login, your profile, your credentials, your conversation history, and your subscription records, and it cannot be undone. Your name and email are also removed from any service records you worked on.

A few things stay, no longer linked to your account: photos you sent, notes from service work at a building, and app reliability data. We keep them so equipment recognition keeps improving and a building's service history stays complete. If you want your photos removed as well, email support@5ktac.com before or after you delete your account and we will remove them.

You can also email support@5ktac.com from your account email and we will delete your account for you.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.

Children

LifeSafetyMates is a professional tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
